The tea story of Lipton Tea began when the original owner, a Scotsman has decided to turn his Lipton grocery store into a tea company after acquiring five bankrupted plantations in Ceylon. The Lipton Tea Company has never ceased in producing tea after that decision was made. Clever advertising and attention grabbing names paved way for the products of Lipton Tea Company to become a part of every household.
